1. About the Quilt Along
The Modern Plus Sampler quilt along will start July 2018 and run until April 2019.
The pattern is suitable for the confident beginner and will be mostly traditionally pieced but will include some optional applique and paper piecing.
You will need the book, Modern Plus Sign Quilts, in order to quilt along with us as the Modern Plus Sampler includes many design elements from the book all incorporated in to one Modern Plus Sampler.

I bought the book when it first became available. I have been looking forward to this event since I first glanced through the book. My granddaughter, age 6, took a lot of time looking through the book. When she was finished she said, "Grand they all pretty, but I want this one." She pointed to the one you made of appliqued circles with plus signs in the middle. She looks through magazines and books all the time, but this is the first time she has requested a specific design. To me that is high praise and a resounding success.
ReplyDeleteI have an Alison Glass layer cake for hers, but I don't know which Aurifil thread colors you used. I intend to make hers at the same time I do the quilt along. Would you share the thread colors so I have time to order them? I don't have a local quilt shop, closest one is over 50 miles away. In advance, thank you for your help.
Oh I am joining in. 'Was going to wait till 2019 to start something new, but this is too good to resist. 'Got the book already via Amazon.
