In Bloom #43 + Jerusalem Artichoke

I debated whether or not to choose a image of a bloom out of season, but decided a little sunshine would be in order during this long winter.  


This is the bloom of the Jerusalem Artichoke.  It grows quite tall and you can read all about it here.

    A beautiful flower! I love sunflowers and it looks similar. I did read a little about the Jerusalem Artichoke. Thank you.

    What a beautiful flower....I have heard of jerusalem artichokes and eaten them, but never knew what the flower looked like. It is a beauty!
