Around here, leaves are changing colors and quickly fading away. There was no exception to the golden leaves of this Sassafras tree...here one day and gone the next!
So pretty! I did a fall wallhanging from a kit once, my first time using a kit, and sassafras were one of the leaves. I haven't seen any in my neighborhood but I see them where we go hiking/camping in the mountains of Virginia.
To everything there is a season, right? I've never seen a sassafras leaf; it has an interesting shape!
