I finished Metropolis, my re-purposed challenge quilt for the Greenville MQG, at the end of July. I ran out of steam and never made a quilt label for it.
Metropolis was made entirely from men's recycled chambray shirts, well, except for the backing. So, I had this idea of using a pocket for the label. I carefully unstitched the pocket from a shirt and saved it.
I'm going to give hand embroidery a try on the quilt label which means this one will will not be as detailed as most handwritten quilt labels.
This will be my One Monthly Goal for October and linking to Elm Street Quilts.
That's a clever idea, Paige! Will be fun to see it.
