This week I picked over three gallons of grapes, both muscadines and scuppernongs. The ones pictured here are scuppernongs, but you can you can read about the difference in the two here.
I mixed the muscadines and scuppernongs and made two batches of jelly. Now, all I need is some of my mama's homemade buttermilk biscuits.
Happy Sunday,
The jelly looks wonderful. I hope you get those biscuits made; sounds delicious!
ReplyDeleteThat is a lot of work Paige! My husband is the jam maker in our house but when he makes jelly it takes even more time. The jars look just beautiful though. Now go make a batch of biscuits!
ReplyDeleteWow! I am so impressed, but picked grapes and your own jelly definitely means homemade biscuits. My mouth is watering.
ReplyDeleteI did not do any canning this year but plan on making salsa and relish next summer. I made some basil and beet pestos year which I froze in ice cube trays for use later. Your grape jelly is so pretty,
