I spotted this lacecap hydrangea, an unknown variety, on a early morning walk with my mom in her neighborhood. Of course, I had to stop and admire, and take a photo. I wish I had one in my yard.
This type of hydrangea is very common in Japan, where it is called "gakuajisai"--framed hydrangea. They are beautiful and are said to be even more beautiful just after the rain!
That is so beautiful! I would love one in my garden too!
ReplyDeleteOh how pretty - I don't think I've ever seen one of those!
ReplyDeleteThat is so pretty. I have seen them in white, not blue...or is that the ph level thing. I am so not a gardener, but do admire other's work.
ReplyDeleteI wish I had those in my yard too. Such a beautiful color.
