My hydrangeas are in full blooms now. Once again, these came from my Grandmama Sadie's yard in Mississippi. To recreate them, I made 3D appliqued on a quilt I made in her memory, Grandmama's Legacy of Flowers. You can see them in
this post.
Photos of last year's hydrangeas are in
this post about a quilt backing I made for the Pantone Challenge.
Happy Sunday,

In these days I am still working to get blocks done and to learn everything about sewing. But one day I will want to combine and play with fabrics and colours and I Love to see, what can be done and where vorher people get their inspiratipon. So thank you for your fine example.
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful flowers! I love hydrangeas, but have no luck at growing anything myself. Their blue-purple shade is just so lovely.
