First up is....
Postage Plus
Grab your 2 1/2" squares and two background fabrics and you are ready to make Postage Plus, a beginner friendly pattern. I like how Cheryl combined walking foot quilting with free motion quilting all using Aurifil thread.Postage Plus is make with and assortment of green and blue Kona Cotton solids on a background of Kona and Essex linen. Both photos by C&T Publishing.
Now head on over to see the stunning versions made by Bernie, Linda, Liz and Stacey.

Next up is another pre-cut and beginner friendly pattern...
Rick Rack Runner
Rick Rack Runner was inspired by my vintage collection of rick rack and so was the quilting motif which was quilted using the walking foot and matching Aurifil thread.Rick Rack Runner is long, 86" long but could be easily modified to suit your needs.
And just look at the fabric with the cute plus signs, it's Desert Bloom by Cherri & Chelsi for Moda Fabrics.
Now be sure to visit Melanie, Michelle and Patty to see their version of Rick Rack Runner!

ReplyDeleteI love all these quilts so much!!! Thanks for writing the book and having the hop! That tablerunner looks like a quick winner. Great quilting, too.
ReplyDeleteThis hop is so amazing, Paige. The book is beautiful and well done and I was having a hard time picking which project to work on next, but I think the hop has me convinced the Rick Rack Runner will be it!
ReplyDeleteI am enjoying this blog hop so much - all the amazing quilts with colors & fabric - wonderful! Thank you, Susan
