Stitched in Color is hosting another mosaic contest,
Dreaming at Dusk? Her beautiful photograph collages never disappoint and she always has such a way with words to describe them, they almost transport you there.
All you need to do is create a 9-fabric mosaic by
shopping at
Lark Cottons and add your link(s) to the
Dreaming at Dusk collection.
In the two mosaics I created, I thought about the colors found on an
evening stroll around the yard. You would think with fall already here, it would be a little cooler, but not the case. It's still hot and very dry in South Carolina.

ReplyDeleteI was out for a walk the other night...the colours we have here in Ontario are different then the ones you see this time of year. Your pictures and the mosaics they inspired are lovely.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed my virtual South Carolina stroll through your photos! Here in the Midwest, most of the colors we are now seeing are just the very beginnings of the trees changing color. In a month, everything will be bursting with color! You've chosen beautiful fabrics for your mosaics!

How wonderful it is to have plants from your grandmother’s and mother’s gardens. Love the specks on the hydrangeas. 50mm is a great lens! You are going to have so much fun with it :)
